Mr Malagelada is a fellowship trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and a prominent UK expert in the treatment of ankle sprains and related injuries. After having underwent subspecialist training through the BOFAS accredited Foot & Ankle Fellowship in Windsor during one year, he dedicated his career at treating exclusively disorders of the foot and ankle.
He qualified in Medicine from the University of Barcelona in 2005 and undertook Trauma and Orthopaedics training in Spain and the UK at the most prestigious institutions including the Royal London and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

He has lectured nationally and internationally and travelled to centres of excellence in the USA, Switzerland, Germany and France to expand his knowledge and nurture from distinguished overseas experts.
Since 2017 he has been practicing as a consultant at the Royal London Hospital, the UK’s largest Trauma Centre, as well as been developing his private practice in central London. Currently he participates at the BOFAS (British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society) Arthroscopy Course, teaching his All-Inside Ligament Repair technique to surgeons all across the country.
